Our Story
The Play Nest was born from a simple belief: early childhood should be gentle, joyful, and meaningful.
Founded by Sidhi, a mother whose parenting journey took her from India to England, The Play Nest draws inspiration from the play-based, child-respecting early-years education she experienced abroad. Watching her son thrive in such an environment shaped her vision—to bring the best of global early learning together with the warmth and values of Indian upbringing.
At The Play Nest, children are seen as capable individuals. We honour their emotions, encourage curiosity, and support learning through play, creativity, and relationships.
More than a preschool, The Play Nest is a nurturing nest—where children grow with confidence, kindness, and curiosity.
Our Philosophy
We believe play is a child’s first language.
Through play, children explore the world, express emotions, build skills, and develop a lifelong love for learning. Our approach supports holistic development—emotional, social, cognitive, and physical—while respecting each child’s unique pace.
